This recipe was a bit of guess work as I was trying to recreate a recipe. I think they turned out great so enjoy!

Ingredients
- 1 large beetroot, grated
- 1/2 red onion, grated
- 1 tablespoon of ground flaxseed
- 2 tablespoons of ground almonds
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon of cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon of chilli flakes
- 2 teaspoons of garlic powder
- salt and pepper
- 10g Coconut oil
Method
- Mix all the ingredients except for the coconut oil in a bowl until well combined, then cover and place in fridge for half an hour.
- Heat a frying pan and melt the coconut oil. then form the mixture into either 2 large patties or 4 smaller ones. Cook on both sides until golden brown.
- These are delicious on their own or dipped into Greek yoghurt. They are yummy topped with a poached/fried egg or on the side with a chicken breast and salad.
